Meeting Pad App Reviews

I have been looking for an app that did everything this app says it does. I played around with it for a while and its ALMOST perfect. The one thing I would like to see is an option to mark a person absent or present and/or excused without having to put it in the actual note section. Otherwise great app!!!

Great app!!! Looked at many other apps, but couldnt find anything that merged meeting notes, action items, and professional looking email follow-ups. I like to the calendar integration for action items. Developer is very responsive to feature requests and ideas. Definitely worth the money. -Mike

Was really excited about this. Big disappointment. Was looking forward to the seating chart....crashed. Liked being able to add pictures....crashed. Just not a good program. Back to meeting box.

Ive tried many paid and free apps for meetings and this is by far the simplest and most effective! If you are at a meeting you want simplicity and ease of use in the interface. There are more complex apps out there but they are much harder to use and do not often offer picture taking and drawing all on the same note! User support is AMAZING! I had a specific problem and the support staff/person replied very fast and got me through it! Dont be distracted by the complex structures of larger programs (unless you need it). Look for ease of use. The only semi knock is that one or two features could be a little better explained BUT With the quick support response its not a problem at all! Kudos!

I searched high and low and downloaded numerous meeting and note taking apps. Meeting Pad is by far my favorite! The only thing that could make it better is a sync capability with the iPhone app, which the developer tells me is coming.

I find this app to be comprehensive and intuitive to use. The response from support was immediate and highly effective. Great app!

Meeting import feature doesnt work. Tried importing meetings but app crashes every time. Please fix this ASAP. Great feature would love for it to work seamlessly. Thnx.

If you are looking for an application that helps you look smart in meetings and gives the impression that you have it all together, this is an app to get. I read a previous review about the meeting import not working, but i was able to import the meeting and all the invitees, add additional invitees, position people in how they sat in the meeting (and even used it to remember names while I was having a "senior moment"), create and assign action items, and within minutes of meeting closure, send out the update. Amazing! I wish there was a 4.5 rating i can offer because the only reason I did not place this at 5 stars is because it would have been great to have all of the content to be automatically backed up in a cloud service rather than email. I already had something happen on another iPad, and have grown very comfortable with connecting to the net to quickly and easily reload all of my software, settings, and content. Other than that, great job with the functionality. This is one of the VERY few apps that offered me everything I wanted out of an app functionally.... and more!

I am very happy with this ap. The format of the notes looks great when you email and I love the action item tracking. Would like to see a web ap so you could use it when you have a computer at hand.

I find this a great way to take, organize and share meeting notes. I really like the integration of tasks right into the meeting notes. I also find it real easy to track who said what even though I do not use the audio recording feature. I highly recommend this app for those trying to organize all the meetings they are involved in. It has made me look great at work and I now find it to be a productivity tool I cant live without.

Aside from countless note taking apps, Ive purchased and spent time investigating all the features. Let me save you some time and money. This is the best one for taking business notes, and the most tidy-looking by far. Its about finding the right balance between complexity and functionality, while having an aesthetically pleasing UI and an output quality that befits the iPad and makes you proud in front of your colleagues. This App allows you to generate minutes easily, take whiteboard photos, save Audio, assign actions, insert a quick sketch and communicate the minutes in a clean well-designed output format. Meetings are organized in categories/projects. The other Apps sometimes have more functions, but they lose out on feature design, as well aesthetic and execution quality. Sure, there are a small number of teething problems. But the developer is highly responsive and motivated and is adding functionality all the time. Im backing this App and so should you!

Hand writing is part of my meeting needs and this update renders it useless. Slow and choppy. Fail.

The same crashing problems that have existed for the past 6 months are in the new version as well. The new interface is nice but I still cant add attendees without it crashing EVERY TIME. If this app were free it wouldnt be so bad.

So I forgot to bring my laptop into work one day..but I did have my iPad. What to do for that 4pm meeting? Well, I downloaded this app hoping it would help me keep minutes during the meeting. I am pleased to say that this app does everything I need it to do and more! Typing on the iPad is a bit tedious, so I suggest a Bluetooth keyboard when using this app. You definitely dont want the meeting to run away from you while youre pecking away at a virtual keyboard. PROS: Audio recording, Meeting Actions (and reminders), Attendees can be pulled from contacts (or added), UI is intuitive and beautiful. CONS: I wish I had more control over how the finished document looked, or that I could set up a template for it to follow. As is, Im stuck with the same ugly red letters and tables (for actions). But this is fixable within about 5 minutes on a word processor. Overall, this app gives me more flexibility and features than a pen and paper or word processing app would. I think its a novel idea, and a well-executed app!

This App is a MUST HAVE for anyone who attends meetings on a regular basis. The record feature allows you to go back and listen to the meeting during quiet time and re-evaluate the content and direction of the meeting. The action item feature drives the purpose of the meeting to conclusion by e-mailing people with the minutes, and the expectations before the follow up meeting. This App is worth every penny, and then some. Get it, and become a believer.. Thanks Mike

I love this app. I use it when I run virtual and in person meetings and it is phenomenal. Love the meeting import feature. I use it for every meeting I run.

I was told about this app by a colleague and decided to try it. It works well and captures the things I need. Steve is very encouraging when a question is posted and an answer is needed. Steve keep up the good work. The one thing I would like to have- upload the agenda or other documents needed in the meeting document so that I can have a paperless meeting. When I send the minutes the team has the agenda included. Great App Harlean

I have many meetings. I tried to keep notes in a binder but I found that I never looked back at them because it was too hard to find. This app allows me to catagorize and search my meeting notes. It also lets me to add items to an agenda as I think of them. This is a very valuable tool for me. I hope that an attachement feature will be added.
